We've been practicing and teaching this sport for years and are constantly working to popularize Greenland-style rolling in our region. When we first started, many people barely smiled at us. Today, our community is growing, and we teach at international symposiums and work alongside the world's top coaches.

The Salty Cosmos is a universe full of adventure and freedom, where people meet each other with kindness, openness and solidarity. Here we learn with and from each other. In the Salty Cosmos there is no machismo, no racism, no homophobia and there are no ego-cowboys.

1. Swiss Greenland Rolling Symposium in Murg am Walensee
Dass maximale Vorfreude sogar  noch übertroffen werden kann, hat das 1. Schweizer Grönlandrollen-Symposium 2025 in Murg am Walensee bewiesen.

Eure Co-Coaches Eiichi Ito und James Manke haben, genau wie Ihr, unglaublich wertvolle Inputs und grosses Wissen weitergegeben. Puzzle-Teile haben sich zu einem Ganzen zusammengefügt.
Ich habe viele Anregungen bekommen, neues gelernt und bin sehr dankbar dafür.

Ihr habt eine unglaubliche Leistung vollbracht:
Einen so schönen Anlass auf die Beine zu stellen und zusätzlich selber (wieder) so tolle Rollen-Kurse zu geben, das verdient allerhöchsten Respekt und Anerkennung.

Swiss Greenland Rolling Symposium 2025
My first time getting out with Salty Cosmos and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dear Ella and Yuri, you have done such an outstanding job bringing this event to life, with an amazing, supportive group of people, world class coaching, delicious food, and so many laughs I'm still sore! Would recommend to anybody who wants to get out on the water, regardless your previous experience, to try a course, a holiday weekend or a clinic with them. Their passion for kayaking and Greenland Rolling, and generally for helping you achieve your goals, and get more confident on and in the water is felt in every class and conversation, and in a relaxed and supportive athmosphere that really helped me face my fear of putting my face in the water and learn so much both about rolling and about myself. Thank you both so much for an incredible experience! I'm counting down the days until the next opportunity!

Storm Roll Kurs
Wieder einen Kurs mit Ella und Yuri belegt, wieder einmal total begeistert gewesen. Ich kann wirklich nur jeder Person - die ein hohes Interesse an Sicherheit / Rollen  in Kombination mit Spass und Herz hat, empfehlen, einen Kurs bei Beiden mitzumachen. Selten habe ich erlebt, dass so auf individuelle Bedürfnisse eingegangen wird, mit viel Wissen, Sorgfalt und Geduld.  Auch das Angebot der vielen und sehr vielfältigen Kurse hat mir sehr geholfen. In jedem Kurs lernt man nicht nur Neues, sondern arbeitet immer wieder an seiner Basis, was ich persönlich sehr schätze.
Man kann sich nur wünschen, dass Ella und Yuri noch sehr sehr lange Kurse geben werden, denn es gibt noch sooo viel zu lernen :) 1000 Dank Euch beiden

Kurswoche Roses und Rollen Basiskurs
Ich war an der Kurswoche in Roses und am Basis-Rollenkurs und bin von beidem absolut begeistert! Ella und Yuri sind Vollprofis, die beide extrem viel können und das auch super vermitteln. Sie spüren instinktiv, was jemand braucht, um einen Knoten zu lösen (kommt beim Rollen ja immer mal wieder vor...) und paddeltechnisch auf ein neues Niveau zu kommen. Und obwohl sie das Thema Sicherheit sehr ernst nehmen, ist die Stimmung sehr locker und gelöst und man lacht viel und fühlt sich einfach nur wohl. Ich habe auch bei einer anderen Schule einen Rollenkurs gemacht und muss sagen, dass da Welten dazwischen liegen, Salty Cosmos ist ganz klar die Nr. 1!

From Zero to Hero 29. 5. - 1.6. 2025
Hat man die Möglichkeit in den Genuss zu kommen, 4 Tage von Ella und Yuri begleitet / gecoached zu werden, so ist das ein Geschenk! Es ist die Art, wie man einer Person etwas beibringt, dabei genau merkt, wie sehr sie sich auf einen einlassen, einem die Sicherheit zu jeder Zeit geben, ihnen voll und ganz vertrauen zu können und hoch motiviert aus einer Vielfalt an Informationen glücklich nach Hause zu gehen. Wer das Rollen lernen will... ohne Frage, Ella und Yuri sind unglaublich. Wer aber auch ein Gefühl für sein Kajak erhalten will, ein Gefühl der Sicherheit im Umgang, die Erfahrung machen möchte, wo man wie an seine Grenzen und an die des Kajaks kommt, ohne Angst zu haben, oder das Vertrauen zu verlieren, der ist absolut bestens bei SaltyCosmos aufgehoben. Eine riesen Freude war der Kurs und danke Ella und Yuri für ihre Sorgfalt, ihren Humor und den feinen Kaffe :)
