Exercising in nature always involves a certain amount of risk. The types of risks that can arise around kayaking are different from the risks you may previously be familiar with. Dealing with potential risks may require a different approach than other activities you have previously participated in. Within an on-water activity, Salty Cosmos guides/coaches will take appropriate steps to provide you with the appropriate level of safety for the activity in question. Even so, there is always the risk that you will be confronted with discomfort, fear or even injury. You can contribute to your own safety and that of each other by following the instructions of Salty Cosmos employees.

Health: If you have any health issues that you think your guides should be aware of, please contact us. These can include e.g. Asthma, allergies, diabetes, heart problems, epilepsy, traumatic experiences on the water and much more. If in doubt, speak to us before a programme. We will then look at it with you and decide what could be a sensible approach to the topic for everyone involved.
