WINTER COURSES SWITZERLAND
Your hobby doesn't end in September. Winter is a fantastic time of year for sea kayaking and everything that goes with it.
With us you can choose between "dry" courses on land that help you prepare for the next "kayaking season": kayak repair, paddle building, navigation, etc. Or you can become part of the growing, wet winter paddling community. All you need is a drysuit, warm clothes and maybe a little courage at the beginning. With us you will learn the safety basics and everything you need to know about paddling in the cold and dark. Or come straight to our New Year's rolling event on Lake Thun! We are sure: you too will quickly become addicted to sea kayaking in winter. Especially on our Swiss lakes, this is, as many experts in the field would agree, the most beautiful time of year.

There are warm and cold paddling months - but the sea kayaking season lasts 12 months a year!
This is what Silvy Seal says
Hmmm… sitting still in the classroom is really not my thing. Especially since I always find my way in the ocean. I don't even have to think about it. And what about the tides? Even the smallest seal puppy knows that! But yes, it's obviously something different for humans. They have to learn this in theory first. That's why I think this course is a good thing. Our two-legged friends will learn something exciting and important about my salty home. And we seals and other sea mammals also benefit if you guys all find your way around the sea and don't accidentally end up in the middle of one of our colonies and cause a mass panic. Doesn't sound bad, does it?
